Honey bee control and removal is a highly specialized field. As soon as you find Honey bees on your property you should be careful to stay away from them especially while making noise or vibration such as mowing the grass. This is very irritating to the bees. Spraying the bees from the outside is also a very bad idea for a couple of reasons:

1. it makes them angry and angry bees are dangerous. They have been known to attack animals children and adults and can seriously hurt or even kill you.
2. It spreads them out and disorients them making it difficult to kill and remove the hive safely and effectively
3. it kills very few of the workers only - it does nothing for the bees inside the wall or tree protected by the honey comb

At Early Bird Pest Control our Honey bee Removal staff are the best in the business. They go out during the day when the bees are active to assess the situation and see where the bees are nesting - Then we go out at night to do the removal - at night the bees are settled in and approx 90-95% of the bees are in the hive and they are quiet. Since bees are attracted to light we can minimize flight with a small flashlight or spotlight and keep them from attacking people or pets. At this point the wall is disassembled very carefully and the hive is completely removed. The area is treated with a residual insecticide to prevent re-infestation and that is it! The bees are gone!!
